What Makes This Air Fryer Different?
There is a wide range of other convection toaster ovens from Cuisinart, the company behind the Cuisinart TOA – 60 toaster oven. These models are each different regarding the functions, as well as their sizes.
However, they are all similar in that they do the same work as a toaster oven. However, the Cuisinart TOA – 60 is unique because it has an additional feature, which is the built-in air fryer. The air fryer provides you with a completely different way of preparing your food, a method that is different from the toaster oven’s method. The TOA – 60 provides you with two appliances at the same time.
A normal toaster oven usually uses heat that is generated by coils. This is heat that you use to broil, toast, or bake. However, air frying is different. This method of cooking uses the circulation of air that is extremely hot to cook your meal. It cooks your food using a similar method as air frying, with a tiny amount of oil. For that reason, you will be able to broil, bake, air fry, and toast, with a single oven, which is quite unique, and no other oven model can do that.
Before you can start cooking, you need to preheat your oven to around 450 degrees Fahrenheit. To measure just how much difference there is between the Cuisinart TOA – 60 and a traditional oven, you would measure the difference in the time it takes for the two ovens to reach that temperature.
It should help figure out just how fast the TOA – 60 heats up, which means the time it would take you to cook a meal to completion.
In this test, you will discover that the Cuisinart will take less time to achieve that temperature, less than seven minutes, while the traditional oven will take more than 14 minutes to achieve 450 degrees Fahrenheit. That is extremely impressive.

Thank you for this review, Reviewho.
I’m also writing a review on the Cuisinart TOA-60 and your perspective really helped.
It’s great that you tested the oven’s actual heating time. If only I could see some evaluation on the foods cooked in this oven though.
TOA-60 is NOT easy to clean at all. Interior and drip pans are aluminum, Cannot use oven cleaner spray. Has no “oven clean” cycle. Bascally, there is no effective way to clean the interior, ever.
It is true that cleaning this appliance can be a challenge, something that most customers have mentioned in reviews.
So, to clean the exterior, all you would need is some mild soapy water and a towel. Simply wipe the exterior clean but avoid using abrasive chemicals. The door, crumb tray, and window should be cleaned in the same way. These parts are quite simple to clean.
The tray, basket, and adjustable rack are removable. After using the appliance, remove these three accessories and soak them in some hot water, especially if they are greasy. You can make use of a nylon brush to clean these removable accessories.
As for the interior, you can clean it the same way you clean the exterior. Again, avoid any abrasive chemicals so that you do not damage the appliance.
